Health Equity Innovation Summits

Fostering a Community of Practice Centered on Innovation

The Health Equity Innovation Summits are designed as one-day, interactive innovation workshops to co-design solutions for health equity. Participants ranging from health care leaders, community and patient advocates are invited to work jointly to design plans and solutions. These proposed solutions aim to develop strategy, implementation, policies and practices that address challenges impacting health equity. Using the AHA’s Health Equity Roadmap as a framework, health care leaders, community and patient advocates will be guided through an innovation design thinking session to tackle pertinent challenges in health equity, resulting in the creation of transformative health equity solutions that can be scaled at their organizations.
